Sharing life in words.

Waiting season is such a strange place to be. It’s the in-between, where time stretches forever and thoughts wander. It’s filled with a quiet swirl of changing emotions, tension, hope, anxiety, or sometimes peace.

Being stuck in the pause before an answer, the stillness before a storm, the breath before a leap can be a very draining time emotionally and mentally. We wait for news, for love, for change — often powerless to speed things up. But in that stillness, growth can happen, too. It’s true that waiting teaches patience, resilience, and the value of what’s to come. It forces us to slow down and reflect and finally realize that the waiting itself was part of the journey.

This kind of waiting — the restless, aching, anxiety-driven waiting can feel like being stuck on the edge of something big, but the ground just won’t give way. It’s heavy with impatience, like watching your life spinning on one spot while everyone else’s moves smoothly. It’s hard not to feel worthless in that space. But sometimes, the truth is that waiting isn’t passive. Restlessness can be a signal — a push from deep inside telling you you’re ready for more. It’s uncomfortable because you’re built for movement, for change.

What if this waiting isn’t wasted time but preparation? What if it’s sharpening you for what’s next, even if you can’t see it yet? The hard part is channelling that restlessness into something productive— a new skill, a bold step, even a small change that starts to break the stillness.
